Testicular Symptoms: Stay Healthy By Catching Testicular
Cancer Symptoms Early
By John R. Davis

If you are concerned that you are experiencing testicular
cancer symptoms, it is absolutely imperative that you make an
appointment with your doctor to get them checked out as soon as
possible. While testicular isn't the deadliest of
cancers, it is still very important to catch it in the earliest
stage possible. The longer testicular has to grow and
spread, the less likely you are to survive in the end. Of
course, this is true of all cancers but with testicular a
man has a lot to lose. Canadian comedian Tom Green made a
documentary about his experience with testicular cancer, which
culminated in having one of his testis completely removed.

Fortunately, if caught in stage 1, the survival rate for those
affected is as high as 95 percent. While the odds may be in your
favor, it's still nothing to fool around with. Here are some of
the testicular symptoms to be aware of: significant
increase or decrease in the size of one of the testis, constant
and recurring dull pain in the lower abdomen or groin area and
blood in the semen. Testicular is most commonly found in
Caucasian men who fall in the 15-40 age bracket, although there
are also peaks during infancy and

around the age of 60. Common
treatments for testicular are chemotherapy or radiation
treatments.

Other testicular symptoms to be on the lookout for are
loss of sexual appetite, buildup of fluid in the scrotum and
pain or tenderness in the testicles. To be sure, testicular
cancer isn't something that is on the tip of most people's
tongue. Still, it is something that people need to be aware of.
Nobody is immune from it, as champion Lance Armstrong proved
when he almost died as a result of the condition.
